This is what Wilston is well known for. “The Strip” which is on Kedron Brook Rd is home to a number of boutique cafes and restaurants that if you visit on a weekend, you’ll do well to find a park. Places like Fritzenberger for a good burger on a weeknight, Sichuan Bang Bang for an excellent feed or plenty of other options, make this area very popular with locals and people from neighbouring suburbs.

School Catchment Zones

Wilston State School is the primary school catchment however for high school this is split between Kelvin Grove State High School and Kedron State high. The property prices tend to be more buoyant in the Kelvin Grove State High Catchment zone.

Recreation

Bike rides down to Finsbury park and kicking a ball on the ovals is a popular past time for locals but the primary recreation for Wilston residents is relaxing at the café precinct. There are plenty of other options including movies at Newmarket, watching a game at Ballymore Stadium or a walk up to the Eildon Hill Reservoir.
