Norman Park QLD 4170

Rental Appeal

Norman Park is in my opinion, one of the best suburbs in Brisbane. Our property management team loves getting properties for rent in Norman Park as they are extremely popular and we can command a premium for our clients with almost all applications being received of high calibre. Norman Park is a quiet and beautiful character style suburb with excellent convenience, great lifestyle and beautiful homes. Poets Corner is by far the most popular rental area within Norman Park. It is not hard to see why you would buy an investment property in Norman Park and if you can’t afford to buy a home here, it’s not hard to see why you’d want to live here, it is beautiful.

Transport Options

Norman Park is ultra convenient. Regular bus services running to or from the city and southern suburbs, multiple roadway access via Wynnum Rd, Old Cleveland Rd or Stanley Street as well as the train in the middle and the ferry on the riverfront, I would challenge you to find a more connected and convenient suburb to gain access to in Brisbane.

Local Shops

While Norman Park isn’t home to a large shopping centre, there is a supermarket on the corner of Macrossan & Bennetts Rd. There are also plenty of small sets of shops with boutique fashion stores, Yoga, chemists, seafood and almost everything else you could think of.

Restaurants/Cafe

Almost wherever you live in Norman Park you could walk 5 minutes and you’ll be at a café. If you’re in Poets Corner you have Dovetail on Overend and if you’re in the other pocket of Norman Park, you have about 10-12 cafes to choose from. There are also some great dining options on Bennetts Rd or you can travel 5 minutes to Bulimba’s renowned Oxford Street for a plethora of dining options.

School Catchment Zones

Norman Park’s primary school catchments are split to being for Poets Corner, Norman Park State School which has an excellent reputation and the other pocket is Seven Hills State School. For senior, Norman Park residents are within the Coorparoo Secondary College catchment zone.

Recreation

You will always be able to entertain yourself in Norman Park whether it’s watching a game of rugby at Easts Rugby, a visit to the Bowls Club for a game of lawn bowls or a quiet drink to watch the locals, a hit of tennis, experiencing the restaurants and cafes on Bennetts Rd or a bike ride/walk along Norman Creek.
