Mitchelton provides plenty of options for recreation including shopping at Brookside, bike riding along Kedron Brook, bushwalking in nearby Gap Creek Reserve, Lockrose St Playground which is a massive park and playground for kids or watching local sporting teams compete at Teralba Park. Nearby Arana Leagues Club also is home to the local footy team and provides great meals and entertainment for families.
