Milton is one of the most central suburbs for the north/western side of Brisbane with strong appeal from both professionals, young people and families. Park Rd is the key café and restaurant precinct of Milton. With an entire street devoted to outdoor restaurant dining, a number of small bars and cafes, it is not hard to see why people want to live within walking distance. On top of this there is Railway Tce with 3 craft beer houses as well as the Newstead Brewing Co opposite Suncorp Stadium.
School Catchment Zones
Milton is in the Milton State Primary School catchment and the extremely highly sought after Kelvin Grove State High School catchment. Both of these schools rank in the top 10 Brisbane Government State Schools making this a very appealing area for families.
Milton has plenty of recreational activities including craft brewery tours including the historic XXXX factory, Newstead Brewing Co, Aether Bar, Scratch Bar and a number of other boutique bars. There is also Suncorp Stadium for sporting events and Frew Park with the Milton Tennis Centre attached providing a few hectares of parkland, one of Brisbane’s largest playgrounds and 10+ tennis courts. Finally there are Farmers markets on Cribb Street every weekend providing great access to fresh fruit and veg. You will never be short of something to do in Milton.
