Chapel Hill is a very accessible suburb from Brisbane CBD and provides large housing at an affordable price. There are good quality Government Schools, choices of restaurants and cafes and easy access to the local shopping centres. Transport Options
Chapel Hill has regular bus services to and from the CBD and the University of Queensland in St Lucia. The train can be accessed in the neighbouring suburb of Indooroopilly.
Local Shops
Chapel Hill is located between Kenmore and Indooroopilly. Kenmore has two small shopping centres and Indooroopilly is home to one of the 3 largest shopping centres in Brisbane with over 200 different stores. There is also the convenience store on Fleming Rd and the small centre just off Boundary Rd.
Restaurants/Cafe
Chapel Hill has 3 main areas to choose restaurants or cafes. The first is Fleming Rd with a quality Indian restaurant, Moordale Street including the Suburban Social, or Moggill Rd with Thai and others. Each of these pockets also has a café or two.
School Catchment Zones
Chapel Hill State School is the local primary school and it is within the Indooroopilly State School catchment zone which ranks in the top 5 in Queensland for Government high schools.
Recreation
Chapel Hill is home to the reservoir and backs onto Mt Coot-tha providing some excellent opportunities for bushwalking and family picnics.
