Transport Options

As mentioned above Annerley is so central. It has regular bus services and two train stations on the border in Fairfield and Dutton Park. Car access is also very simple with multiple inbound and outbound options.

Local Shops

Annerley has two shopping hubs. The one to the northern end of the suburb is just off Cornwall Street and has a woolworths and multiple other small retailers. The southern shopping district within Annerley is on Ipswich Rd closer to Moorooka and has op shops, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and multiple retail stores.


Annerley has never been known for its choice of food and cafes however this has been changing in recent years. Little cafes are popping up including ones like Fuel Espresso on Bower which are proving very popular with locals. Annerley has plenty of fast food including the only Taco Bell store in Brisbane.

School Catchment Zones

For Primary School, Junction Park State School is the catchment and for high school it falls within the Yeronga State High School catchment zone.
